Poor bloody chap, I dont know if it was deliberate, but hell, he managed to overshadow the Oscar nominations, if you live yyour life in the celebrity spotlight, then I suppose thats the way to go.
Its a really big shame, he was a decent actor, I especially enjoyed A Knights Tale and Casanova, in which he did indeed shine. And it its rumoured that his portrayal of the Joker is bloody excellent.
Its just a bit of a shame really that in years to come the world will probably forget all this and will remember him for the Oscar-winning gay-cowboy film.
They probably wont even remember that it was called Brokeback Mountain.
But thats the state of the world and enduring power of celebrity for you. Although I hope I am wrong on this one.
